      In depth

      Verdict

Menelaus looks to be going the right way and while slightly fortunate to win as easily as he did at Towcester last time, has solid claims having been raised just 5lbs for that success, and Kevin Morgan's gelding gets the vote ahead of Festival King and Silver Bow. The last mentioned has run respectably in her last two starts but may be a shade high in the weights so looks best watched. Justwhateverulike is less exposed than most but remains a maiden, while Suprendre Espere has given little cause for optimism of late. Tobesure may do better back over hurdles today but more solid claims are held by Festival King, who represents the back to form yard of Len Lungo. Menelaus has solid claims though and is taken to follow up his Towcester success.
