Verdict

Jonathan Haynes’ free-going mare Beyondtemptation was a wide-margin winner of this in 2017 and is 6lb lower. She is back in the right grade but, along with Stoney Rover, was behind Ryedale Racer over track and trip in March. DESERT ISLAND DUSK (NAP) is also a course and distance winner and he can reverse Sedgefield running with Beyondtemptation in February if a first-flight tumble at Kelso hasn’t had a lasting effect. Kalaharry has been doing his winning over further and on very soft going but Pistol would have each-way claims on his best form.
