Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Montoya's Son, Tot O'Whiskey and Harry Flashman all return from an absence and are probably best watched today, while Ocarina was punished by the handicapper after winning twice here in 2010. Carlisle runner-up Baltic Pathfinder is often let down by his jumping but Bene Lad is hard to ignore after a couple of solid efforts last month and Persian Prince should confirm Musselburgh running in January with Or D'Oudaires, despite the revised weights. MR GOOFY is lightly raced under Rules however and, despite his age, may have a little more to offer. He is fancied to follow up his comfortable Leicester win here off a 6lb higher mark.
