Brother Scott has been in good form over course and distance recently, winning last month before finishing second to Skylander at the start of this month off his new mark. He should be tough to pass if granted an easy lead in this but that can't be guaranteed as Suprise Vendor also likes to be prominent. NO THROUGH ROAD would be one of those who would benefit from a strong gallop as he won over further here in November last year and scored later at Southwell and Ayr. He starts off the new season off a high enough mark but could still come out on top as he's still getting a pound from Sean Airgead, beaten in a seller over hurdles here at the last meeting. Present Lodger did well last season so could figure but Pekanheim may be in the handicapper's grip now.
