A few of these have given their supporters the run around in recent times and now might be the time to cut the losses and side with Amjad, who has plenty in his favour on these terms. He proved at Carlisle recently that he at least has the heart for a battle and can make the most of a favourable mark with a useful conditional booked for the ride. Copplestone bounced back to form last time and has to be rated as a danger if there is any support for him. But he rarely puts in two similar performances and may be best considered for a place at best. Rescator, who was once briefly the apple of Martin Pipe's eye, showed great resilience last time out and is another to consider, but the enigmatic Highbank will be a bigger threat if he is on a going day. and could be worth factoring into any betting plans if the prices permit.
