TREEHOUSE continues to run well and might be good enough to land this from Reckless Venture and Rexmehead. Our selection ran well when taking third last time and having travelled and jumped well that day can be given another chance in what is a similar contest. The six-year-old is relatively unexposed having had just 11 starts and should act under conditions so rates a solid proposition in a race where few are in such good form. Reckless Venture fell last time out but runs off the same mark as when a length second prior to that and, as one who has winning form with cut in the ground, must have a serious chance if none the worse for that mishap. Rexmehead has a chance too, being well in judged on his hurdle rating. However, the horse is yet to show much from two starts over fences and was held in moderate hurdling company last time. Manoubi usually runs his race and is well in on past form but age is catching up with this ten-year-old and he looks set for a place at best, whilst French Ties needs a market check making his debut for the yard as one who will enjoy the conditions and stay the trip being a point-to-point winner. Polobury and Shulmin are others with plausible chances but this trappy closing contest might go the way of Treehouse.
