In depth

Verdict

THE FRIARY is arguably unlucky not to be off the mark over fences. He's made the frame on four occasions now including a third at Carlisle last month and won't get many better opportunities than this. Moyode Wood was pulled-up last time but had gone close on faster ground at Cartmel earlier while Capital Venture makes his chasing bow having won over timber at Kelso. Lukey Luke won one of these events over track and trip when Stagecoach Jasper fell, but both have ran below par since.
