Marsh Run has the scope to improve again and can follow up his recent success at the expense of First Harmony and Topanberry. Mick Easterby's four-year-old Marsh Run went down by a short-head to First Harmony when they met on their debut's here in September, and has since gone on to score at Market Rasen where more use was made of him. With that in mind, he may be able to turn the tables on Mel Brittain's charge, despite being five pounds worse off at the weights. The likes of Back On Song and L'Orage Lady are worth a second look in the betting market but a bigger danger may be Topanberry who has been striding out quite well at home and who has the assistance of Tony Dobbin. In what should though turn out to be a battle of the market leaders, Marsh Run is the selection.
