Verdict

Gangsters R Us is a tentative selection over Channel Highlander and Bob's Buster in yet another small field. Gangsters R Us had been disappointing over fences before opening his account over hurdles in heavy ground at Ayr in February. He was then out with the washing when well beaten on a return to the Scottish track and has been given time to recover and strengthen up. Reported to have schooled well, as long as the ground is not too fast this time, he can return with a win. Channel Highlander is still a maiden and is hard to enthuse about, but the fact that he is trained by Len Lungo means he must not be ruled out in a weak affair. Bob's Buster is a previous course and distance winner over hurdles, but is perhaps still too high in the weights, so we recommend a small wager on Gangsters R Us.
