Verdict

Assumetheposition can account for Cash Bonanza, Corlande and Getinbybutonlyjust. The selection only just failed in his follow-up bid at Catterick recently, having scored at Sedgefield the time before. Beaten narrowly by Joan's Girl, his ability to handle the testing ground will come in handy here, and he gets the vote off what is still a fair mark. Cash Bonanza has topweight on his comeback, and although hailing from a top yard, is perhaps best watched, while Corlande has plenty of weight and has yet to show the same level of form as last season in three runs. Getinbybutonlyjust will stay every yard of the trip, and hopefully will put his recent fall behind him to run well and be involved, but Assumetheposition makes most appeal.
