Blaigowrie has the potential to go on to better things and can pay to follow here ahead of Joy Box, Sadler's Pride and Hot Weld. Blairgowrie hails from a powerful yard, and if his second to the highly rated Villon at Carlisle is taken at face value, he must surely go well today. Although well held by the winner, he was in turn a long way clear of the third, and if anywhere near fit, can make a winning debut over hurdles. The longer trip should suit, and he has most to fear from Joy Box, successful here in the summer but absent since. Only a four-year-old, he too has the scope to make a nice hurdler. Sadler's Pride, third at Wetherby recently, has at least had a taste of the obstacles, while Hot Weld is one to note when eventually sent over fences. None of those mentioned have the same potential as Blaigowrie though, and he is the one to beat.
