Hartside has been a progressive handicapper this spring but may not have too much more improvement left in him. Oliver’s Gold looks handicapped to the hilt and the same applies to Boss Des Mottes, while Chilly Miss hasn’t built on the promise she showed last summer. BRAVE SPARTACUS went up 5lb for his victory at Sedgefield in April, but he’s still nearly a stone lower in the handicap then when winning the Listed Summer Plate last July and with the ground in his favour, should go well here.
