      Verdict

      Nobel gets the confident vote here with First Fought and Crathorne rating the main dangers. The selection would have won last time but for running out when clear. In the hope that his rider will be ready for it this time he need only put in a clear round to score under conditions that suit. First Fought rates the main danger on his latest second behind Stowaway but that form has since been let down and he is taken on with this in mind. Crathorne is another that could go well on his best hurdles form but the suspicion is he will learn from the experience on this his first run over fences. Of the remainder, Count The Cost has the ability to go close but is often let down by his jumping and with this in mind for the winner we return to Nobel even though Rose Davidson takes the ride.
