Cloudmor has been progressive this winter and is taken to gain compensation for a jumping blip last time out and score again, although the challenges of last-time out winners Primus Inter Pares and Ton-Chee should not be underestimated. The selection has now risen to a mark of 102 however that doesn't look beyond him and with the soft conditions likely to offset the faster pace now down in trip, he looks the one to side with. Barton Sun unseated in the race won by Ton-Chee last time out but should appreciate the softer ground today and he certainly cannot be ruled out for his in-form stable. The victor that day, Ton-Chee, appreciated the good ground that day but looks vulnerable on today's softer ground. Primus Inter Pares belied doubts about his stamina to win on soft ground at Catterick last time out and looks a player today, along with Atura Gatti. He will have to forget a poor last run when not lasting home on bad ground but dropped in trip today he has place claims at least. In a tricky contest, we will tentatively return to the progressive Cloudmor to continue his improvement and get his head back in front.
