Red Dahlia, Gate Expectations and Eyes To The Right are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote goes to Gate Expectations. The selection was a good second off this mark last time out behind Droumleigh Lad and that horse has since ran well in defeat and under conditions that suit in a wide open affair he could be the value bet. Red Dahlia rates the main danger on his latest sixth in a better race behind Alvaro last time but he just gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip and for that reason he is opposed. Eyes To The Right was a fair third behind Salinas last time but although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle so can not be backed with any confidence. Captain Hardy was a fair sixth in a better race behind Penny Pictures last time and is sure to appreciate the step up in trip so he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Secret's Out and Lanos have dropped to handy marks and are from shrewd yards so are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Gate Expectations.
