Verdict

Scrupuleux beat a subsequent winner at Worcester in June but has been well beaten in both starts since. Mountain Chimes was only fourth when favourite at Stratford last month so this can go to OMEGA SPRINGS. The top weight has improved for the switch to Dai Williams and he was biting off more than he could chew in a Class 3 at Wetherby last time. Wenceslaus is making his chasing bow but has won his last two over timber and Lord Fendale is another chasing newcomer to note. Centreofexcellence won at Bangor last time and was then second at Ludlow with the winner of that race franking the form at Musselburgh on Monday.
