Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Capitana, Phar Out Phavorite,Alva Glen and Innocent Rebel and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection was only 29 lengths behind Penzance in a grade 2 last time out. This is much easier and he need only run up to that mark to score. Capitana rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Wenger but this looks more competitive and his penalty may just find him out so he is passed over on this occasion. Phar Out Phavorite is another that could go well now he drops back down in trip having appeared not to stay when third behind Fordingbridge on his last run. However he looks to have enough weight for what he has actually achived and for that reason he is over looked. Alva Glen also won well last time out when beating Saorsie and is another with place claims but in a wide open contest for the winner we return to Innocent Rebel .
