Verdict

Four-times hurdles winner DELFACE looks the likely favourite for a race that won’t take much winning. He wasn’t entirely disgraced when third over fences at Newton Abbot in July and that will have taught him plenty. Cock A Doodle Doo finished tailed off on his chasing bow at Ludlow and was behind the modest Hume Lough. Throckley doesn’t really have a chasing pedigree but won over hurdles and also on the Flat so has ability.
