In depth

Verdict

JUST A THOUGHT, runner-up in a point-to-point in April, was always going well when landing a Ffos Las bumper last month and can defy a penalty. Ruby Russet couldn't get to Bold Image at Fontwell but would be suited by any further ease in the ground while State Sovereignty will be better for her run at Wetherby in February. Squeaky showed some promise at Warwick last month and can improve enough to get into the frame while Alan King's newcomer Cybelle Colombe is the first foal of a mare from a very smart jumping family. Dites Rien is another well-connected filly who should be monitored for support.
