This is a competitive handicap hurdle in which Eyes To The Right, Great Ovation and Maldoun look to be the leading players and the vote is given to Great Ovation. The selection is closely-matched with Eyes To The Right on their recent run at Taunton, but our selection is better off at the weights here and should have no problems reversing the form. The only negative would be his jumping which can at times let him down, but if he puts in a clear round he is clearly the one to beat. Eyes To The Right showed a game attitude when prevailing by a neck in that Taunton race, but he will struggle to confirm those placings at these weights. Maldoun has to be of interest as he hails from the in-form Martin Pipe yard, but he was very disappointing last time and that effort would have to be ignored if he were to be supported with any confidence here. Shogoon is a far from convincing jumper but if he could put in a clear round he would be of interest. However, for the winner we return to Great Ovation.
