A poor bumper where ZAZAMIX is taken to see off Tzora. The Nicky Henderson-trained selection won a soft ground Newbury bumper over 13f in January and has not been rushed back to the track by his handler. He carries a 4lb penalty for that victory but there is little doubt that he can improve for the step up in trip today and he looks capable of following up. Tzora has finished runner-up on both starts so far and races on a sound surface for the first time today. He didn't improve as anticipated last time out and that is a concern for potential backers here. Megabill won on debut at Taunton but was unable to handle a penalty last time, although he has frame claims again today. Star King should be suited by the sound surface and a market check is advised, and the same goes for fellow debutant Dingat, who is related to winners under rules and comes from a yard who can ready them to win first time. Even so, he will do well to beat our selection Zazamix.
