In depth

Verdict

Earcomesthedream was winning for the first time in more than two years here last month but has tumbled down the weights and it would be no surprise to see him follow up, despite a 10lb rise. This is Minella Bliss' easiest task to date in this country and he did win over C&D last June while Lyrical Chant's close-up second at Newton Abbot was her best run for a long time. Jomade is capable of bouncing back from a poor run at Chepstow on this better ground but does have a bit to find to overturn Worcester running last year with MONTY'S REVENGE and Martin Keighley's charge is fancied to return from a break with a win. Exeter third Daarth is possibly best of the rest.
