PURRFECT HERO may be able to get his career of to the best possible start although Kaybeew will be a worthy adversary and Oxiana cannot be dismissed. The selection is the first foal of a talented mare who enjoyed plenty of success for Jonjo O'Neill and he could be a threat to all if he's inherited a fraction of his dam's ability as she won six of her thirteen career starts, including three bumpers. Kaybeew's penalty is negated by the claim of his promising young rider and there was enough to like about his winning debut although the form has yet to really be tested. Oxiana showed ability on his sole start for Dermot Weld at Galway and the form of that race looks respectable if not anything out of the ordinary. Grands Crus never remotely looked like justifying market support on debut but he should know more about the game now and may be able to leave that run behind. One or two others have shown ability and the market should be useful but Purrfect Hero looks a likely sort on paper and gets the vote.
