CHAIN OF COMMAND may be able to make a winning debut over hurdles although there are a number of interesting opponents including Overturn, Bold Addition, Spate River, Society Venue, Rebel Dancer and Ostland. Warren Greatrex has made a good start to his training career and he has a promising individual on his hands in Chain Of Command. He showed promise on debut where the first two pulled clear of the field and he improved on that form when fifth in a warm race at Cheltenham. He's bred to jump obstacles and should be able to give a good account. Bold Addition already has a run over hurdles under his belt and did enough at Aintree to think that he'll be winning sooner rather than later although he doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary. Spate River, Society Venue and Rebel Dancer all showed some ability on the level and have joined respected yards so it would be no surprise to see them win races in this sphere. The market should be useful in regard of their chances today and those of Ostland who was a winner over hurdles in Germany but a bigger threat may be posed by Overturn. Donald McCain's smart Flat handicapper was a shade disappointing on his hurdling bow but it would be no surprise to see him fare better this time around but the suggestion is Chain Of Command.
