In depth

Verdict

This is by far the weaker of the two divisions. Dr Oakley would have found the ground quick enough when making his debut under Rules here last month while Pemberley showed some potential in bumpers and has a nice pedigree for hurdling. Precious Bounty, runner-up in a point in Ireland, was beaten a long way in a Chepstow bumper last month but this is more likely to be his game. Panic And Run looked as though he needed a much stiffer test of stamina when well beaten on good ground at Ludlow so more rain would help but in a race where the market may prove a guide MASSINI MAN, a full-brother to a winning hurdler, can get off the mark after a nice pipe-opener in a Huntingdon bumper in March.
