Silver Nickel failed to complete at Ascot having finished a decent third at same track earlier. Jimmy Bell was still in contention when falling at Ludlow having won over track and trip before that while Kendelu scored at Uttoxeter in November but was pulled-up at Warwick last time when Samtara was beaten only a neck. Le Tueur won at Ffos Las on his handicap debut and can figure again but GIO’S GIRL went very close in heavy going at Uttoxeter last month and Polly Gundry’s mare can improve further now handicapping.
