Not much strength in depth here and Leicester winner Macnance looks to have a fine chance to follow up. Given a break since that victory, Richard Lee's mare, who will again be partnered by promising amateur Alan O'Keeffe, will be just as at home on this less testing surface and she is taken to see off her rivals. Joyeuse showed some promise in bumpers, but she may do better when she goes handicapping, while the best of Nicky Henderson's pair may prove to be Native Approach, who should appreciate this better ground. Lady Lewis is an interesting runner on her hurdling debut. She shaped with plenty of promise behind the high class Iris's Gift in a bumper at Worcester and with the booking of Richard Johnson also catching the eye, she is worthy of respect.
