Verdict

MAGIC SEVEN won a bumper here a year ago and may not have appreciated the softer surface on a return visit when carrying a penalty. A full brother to two winners, including the useful Magic Daze, he can make a winning start over timber. Banteer and Kick Up A Storm both represent Paul Nicholls with the former probably having the most scope. Steel Ally is another likely to improve now having some obstacles to negotiate and Gentleman Jacques was a progressive type in bumpers. Pearl Island and Prairie Diamond could also figure.
