Verdict

Parkinson gets the confident nomination here and he is preferred to Dans Edge and Thievery. The selection won well last time when beating Nicozetto on his seasonal reapperance. He should come on for that run and as he goes well for today's pilot we will put him forward to lead them home despite his penalty. Dans Edge is expected to be better over the bigger obstacles than he was over hurdles and he will certainly have needed his recent outing over hurdles after being off the track for nearly a year. He should strip fitter today and is worth noting in the market. Thievery has some fair bumper form but he has so far been disappointing over hurdles. He is the type that may do better now that he is upped in trip but he is probably best watched on his first run of the season. The Teuchter was well beaten last time and he has yet to prove that he stays this far. We are therefore happy to return to Parkinson who hails from a yard in good form and he should be hard to beat.
