A race that makes little appeal with many out of form and of dubious character. Forrest Tribe has the ability as he has shown with placed efforts in his last three starts but is far from generous in a finish and cannot be relied upon while Channahrlie rarely runs two races alike and followed a course victory with a poor display next time even allowing for the step up in class. Rockcliffe Gossip is well treated and showed that he still retains some of his old ability at Chepstow last month but is on a long losing sequence and preference is for the lightly raced Lord Broadway who has solid claims if reproducing his fine effort behind Scotmail Lad at Leicester in February.
