Only a couple of these managed to complete last time out which makes selecting a winner with confidence somewhat difficult. Shardam looked all over the winner before unshipping his jockey on his chase debut at Ludlow 8 days ago. Ridden with more care he should be hard to beat with his usual jockey back aboard. He is the TEAMtalk selection. Clan Royal picked up some useful chase experience in Ireland when with Arthur Moore. He has been off for a long while and may be best watched on his first outing for 462 days. Granby Bell was pulled up last time out after appearing not to handle the stiffer fences of Newbury but previously had an excellent completion record. Added to the fact he is a course and distance winner he should be involved in the shake up. Advance East had impressed last season at Uttoxeter but did not seem himself when pulling up at Cheltenham on his reappearance. If returning to that previous form he must stand an outstanding chance. Richard Lee can work wonders on horses he receives and his Wynbury Flyer can go well on his debut for the stable. Lee has had a couple of first-time out winners this season.
