Verdict

Having recently won a maiden chase it is a surprise to see Owen Roe return to the smaller obstacles, however this ex-Irish gelding has shown form over hurdles in the past and is suited by the ground. Free Return drops back in trip here having shown promise over a longer trip. He has run well for an inexperienced jockey in the past and is entitled to go well. Joseph William has been showing steady improvement all season and his most recent effort was very promising. If reproducing that effort he holds every chance of springing a surprise at decent odds and is the TEAMtalk selection. Winnie The Pooh is another who has shown improvement with his racing. He may just need this run after a break of almost 100 days. Red Square Man can be given a chance on his performance at Haydock on his penultimate start but disappointed at the same track next time out which is worrying. If back on song he could go well but his trainer is not in the best of form at present. Lazzaz has shown form on a sound surface in the past and has each-way chances if his fall last time out has not dented his confidence.
