Joke Dancer is two from three around here and looks the one to beat, though the form of his stable at present is a little off-putting. Chti Balko also has a good record on the track and Sleepy Haven is another course and distance winner who is not badly treated on his best form – he could go well at a price. Dan Skelton runs two but Applesandpierres is proving hard to place so we’ll take a chance on the returning HOLYRALE. The latter is still a maiden but remains unexposed and had a couple of subsequent winners behind when a close-up fourth in a ladies’ race at Huntingdon in November – Bridget Andrews takes off a valuable 3lb. William Of Orange and Wolfcatcher have a squeak but Spectator needs further and Percy Street has been a huge disappointment.
