In depth

Verdict

TAMARINBLEU has been a fantastic servant to the Pipe's having won seven and been placed 13 times over jumps, most of them at an exalted level including when easily beating Twist Magic in the 2008 Victor Chandler, which was his last success. He ran superbly when just touched off by Cappa Bleu over the C&D last month and can get back on the winning trail. Santa's Son has won nine races in a long career but didn't appear to handle the testing conditions at Aintree last time but Abbeybraney has always been a decent chaser and would look outstandingly well handicapped if anywhere near his best. Camden George is consistent enough but has been raised 9lb for his latest success at Hexham which looks harsh.
