A trappy affair where cases can be made for many and PRINCE REGAL is taken to score on his first start for Karl Burke. The selection does need to reverse form with Lastchancelucas on their recent meeting at Nottingham, but he won twice on soft ground last term and Kieren Fallon can inspire him from the saddle. Rusty Rocket never gets too many favours from the assessor but Paul Green's five-year-old cannot be ruled out on this occasion. The trainer saddled a big price winner earlier in the week and his charge would have major claims if able to reproduce a recent second at Newcastle.
