In depth

Verdict

Doubling Dice won by 15 lengths at Hamilton but his two market rivals ran well below par and this is a much tougher assignment. Mr Carpenter has won twice at York this year at huge prices. He is still relatively unexposed and it would be no surprise to see him thereabouts again while Andaleep has won twice at Sandown recently over 1m2f. Grinling and Zambezi Magic are others arriving in good form but CARLOS FELIX wouldn’t be the first to not handle Goodwood’s gradients and David Simcock’s previously progressive gelding is worth another chance in this.
