Verdict

Frontline Phantom missed out on a hat-trick when only third off today's mark at Carlisle. BOLD DUKE has slipped another 4lb down the weights and is now back on the same mark as when landing last year's renewal. He gets the nod to come good again as though Dansili Dutch is holding his form well, he is unproven over today's distance. Hallingham had also been going well until throwing in a bad one at Goodwood last time but recent all-weather winners Pim Street and Thane Of Cawdor are both upped in class for this.
