A slew of recent winners are all looking to go in again. Ascot winner Normandy Barriere can at least make the frame and is preferred to Sir Billy Wright, a winner over 7f in soft ground at Chepstow just five days ago. It was also soft going when Kommander Kirkup won at Thirsk last month but Straightothepoint makes some appeal upped only 2lb for winning at Ripon where he beat EXPLAIN (NAP). The latter went on to land a Class 3 contest at Thirsk with plenty in hand, however, and Ruth Carr’s charge is fancied to go close again. Point North has been mopping up lower grade sprints on the all-weather and Fantasy Justifier is also upped in class after scoring at Chepstow.
