Imperium has had his last three runs on Polytrack, scoring at Kempton and Lingfield and probably unlucky when beaten over 2m on the latter track. He has an obvious chance while Billy No Mates found the track and trip on soft ground to his liking three weeks ago and a 4lb rise isn't insurmountable. The 2017 Ebor winner NAKEETA has slipped from grace since those heady days but he has won around here and showed he's not finished yet at Ayr so gets the nod despite a 4lb penalty. Chief Craftsman is also penalised for his victory at Redcar but that was in Class 6 company while Potenza will like the ground but has never been this far.
