In depth

Verdict

The impeccably bred Princely Venture, by Entrepreneur out of Oaks and St Leger heroine Sun Princess and from the same family as Saddlers' Hall, Spectrum and Petrushka, should be hard to beat. The King Edward VII entrant was a most promising fifth in a backend Newmarket maiden that is working out well on his sole previous start and should relish both the trip and conditions. Stablemate Navado was beaten a long way behind Nysaean at Windsor but is entitled to improve for the experience while Parsifal is bred to appreciate middle distances and should leave his juvenile form behind.
