Self Praise is of interest back in a nursery but GREY’S MONUMENT didn’t really get the run of the race in his first handicap at Doncaster earlier this month. He wasn’t given a hard time in the closing stages and a set of blinkers could be the making of Ralph Beckett’s colt. Al Khazneh carries top weight but has found only one too good in three previous runs on Turf while Drafted went close over course and distance at the start of the month and is only a pound higher. Spioradalta was a winner at Catterick last week but has 5lb more to carry in better company and Nanga Parbat is proving expensive to follow.
