    Verdict

With Sacranun and Dramaticus already having disappointed on this sort of ground, a chance is taken with Glad Big, whose pedigree suggest that this surface will not be a problem for him as there is plenty of stamina on his dams side. Lord Mayfair is another to throw into the mix, as he shaped up nicely on his debut before finding seven furlongs beyond him last time. He is a prime candidate to cut out the early running and he will expose any weaknesses if they materialize in the opposition. Dramaticus has reportedly shown plenty at home and is one to be aware of this afternoon. Strong support will obviously be a good pointer towards his chance and that scenario should not be dismissed lightly. However, Glad Big is a scopey individual that looks sure to improve with racing. He created the impression that he is a quick learner when staying on late on his debut and a much better effort is anticipated from the Jamie Osborne-trained colt today.
