Samakaan (IRE) Impressive winner at last year's Festival, but has looked decidedly ordinary both runs this season and is probably best watched.
Red Marauder Useful chaser who was far from disgraced in his last two races at Cheltenham, but there has to be a suspicion that the handicapper may have his measure at the moment.
Flying Instructor Extremely well handicapped on his best form. Should handle these conditions but has a tendency to run a few bad races and was reported to have choked last time.
Super Coin Last win came here, but more than two years ago. However, not much racing since then and ran with credit behind Function Dream at Newbury on seasonal return. Decent chance on that, although this trip would probably stretch his stamina a bit.
In The Blood (IRE) Ran well for a long way at Ascot last time and is certainly capable of better, but another who could probably do with dropping a few pounds in the weights.
Just Jasmine Decent mare who loves soft ground, but she has never won in this sort of company and may just lack the class to win this.
Birkdale (IRE) Progressive chaser, definite mudlark with a good win record and course and distance winner. First run of the season, though, and he tends to need a run or two to get him fully wound up.
Goguenard (FR) Ex-French, stamina ran out over three miles here on British debut and today's trip should be more suitable. Not easy to assess.
Welsh March (IRE) Best form probably over two miles and faces a very stiff task at these weights.
Somemanforoneman (IRE) Exciting front-runner and an exuberant jumper, who has been up against some smart horses in his last couple of races. This trip may be his best and do not rule out a return to the winner's enclosure here.
Amberleigh House (IRE) Ex-Irish, probably using this as preparation for Aintree.
