Heracles Unbeaten this term but did not really beat that much last time out; will find things tougher here under his penalty.
Golden Eye (FR) Stepping up in class today and will find this a lot harder than when winning at Ludlow 17 days ago.
Razer Blade Was slightly disappointing last time out but that was in a hot race at Ascot; had previously ran an excellent race in defeat at Cheltenham and may be hard to beat today.
Alpha Centauri (IRE) Ex-Irish who is highly regarded; looks a staying chaser in the making and may find things tough here on his British debut.
Cool Monty (IRE) Had just the one run in England so far since joining Richard Rowe from Ireland; will need to step up on that performance to play a part today.
First Ballot (IRE) Shaped as though in need of further when finishing 6th behind Iznogoud in a hot race at Ascot; was staying on that day and is obviously well regarded and must go well today; only doubt is his lack of experience.
Mercato (FR) Consistent gelding; looks a bit exposed against some of these progressive types but will run a game race and may get a place.
Never Wonder (IRE) Not really the type to win this possibly quite hot novice hurdle.
Regal Action (IRE) Relatively unknown newcomer; market will be the best guide.
Son of Snurge (FR) Formerly with Paul Cole; useful middle distance Flat handicapper whose front running tactics could cause a few problems for the more fancied runners; interesting contender if taking to the obstacles.
The Hearty Joker (IRE) Pulled up on only start over hurdles so far and could find it tough today.
The Puffin Man (IRE) Well beaten on all his starts so far and totally out of his depth today.
Wild Colonial Boy (IRE) Fit from the Flat and has put up a couple of nice performances over hurdles; needs to improve but may have place opportunities.
La Boheme (IRE) Tough introduction and stable not known for producing winners here.
