    Verdict

This looks to be a straight choice between Ragu and Cashel Dancer and the narrow preference is Cashel Dancer. The selection was a close third behind Borora at Hereford last time, and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here. She is a little high in the weights at present but has A P McCoy in the plate and not a great deal to beat. Ragu is clearly the best of the rest but was a well beaten second behind Dilsaa at Hexham last time out. Any rain would benefit this filly from the Ferdy Murphy yard, but she is opposed here. Both Kansas City and Severn Belle would have to improve to feature at the finish, so we give the narrow vote to Cashel Dancer.
