NonRunner
Only the third running of this and both previous winners are back for more. 2014 winner Yourartisonfire has won a couple of lower grade handicaps since but Wilde Inspiration is preferred only 3lb higher than last year’s success. Sinfonietta looked overrated on his arrival from France and took advantage of a tumble down the weights to win at Nottingham on his reappearance. But he’s shot straight back up the handicap for that and has a 13lb hike to contend with. Erik The Red ended last year with a hat-trick and is 6lb higher today while Gabrial's Kaka ended a long losing run with a victory at Chelmsford last week and Revolutionist scored at the same track last month. 1m2f winner Classic Collection drops back in distance off a 10lb higher mark on his return while Birdman ran a big race in the Lincoln and the top weight looks best of the three David O’Meara runners. But lurking at the other end of the handicap is Sir Michael Stoute’s maiden winner MUSTAAQEEM. He hasn’t raced since July and could have been found an easier opportunity for his comeback but a big run is expected.
