In depth

Verdict

Jemez gets the nod to oblige on his third hurdles start; Prelude D'Estruval, Nom De Guerre and Cryptic are just three dangers in the field. Sue Smith's son of Supreme Leader looks sure to develop into a nice chaser in time but first of all there may be some prizes to be picked up on the way over timber. He has shown ability on all of his starts to date and with a decent pace more than likely here then he can stay on too strongly for his rivals at the line. Extalar ran well last time out and could again be involved in the money, whilst recent winners Cryptic and Nom De Guerre both need respect. The former represents a stable constantly supplying the winners, whilst the latter won well last time out and has claims, although penalties do make life tougher for them both, along with the very consistent Original Fly. Prelude D'Estruval should strip fitter for his recent outing and should not be excluded here along with Wizards Dust and Glenary, however in an open race it is Jemez who receives the vote.
