In depth

Verdict

Thannaan has the form to win this at the expense of Majeen and Blindspin. The selection entered the winners enclosure at Folkestone on his seasonal reappearance and won a shade comfortable after being six lengths clear and then eased to the degree that he was nearly caught on the line. Richard Hills will not be making that mistake again and we feel this progressive three year old is going the right way and has a bright future ahead. Majeen ran with credit on all his three runs last season. He caught the eye when a close second on each of this last two races and does not look too unfairly treated by the handicapper so should be noted in the betting market. As should Blindspin who won on his reappearance at Catterick but may find one or two other horses better handicapped here. So for the winner we return to Thannaan.
