In depth

Verdict

Rob Royal and Sao Maxence are best watched returning from time of the sidelines. Near Kettering and Thor De Cerisy are both out of sorts but The Grey Falco, who is eased in grade, may do better following wind surgery and Feivel should have the pace to cope with this drop in distance. SACRE PIERRE would have been placed at worst on his handicap debut at Doncaster had he not fallen at the last. Brian Hughes has been in the saddle for both victories to date and is back on board the four-year-old today.
