Verdict

Thomas Macdonagh has not run over a trip this short over hurdles or fences but has found only one too good in two previous runs around here. Shaman Du Berlais has also been running over longer trips but Katpoli is a 2m specialist who will strip fitter for his fourth in the Castleford at Wetherby. GALLIC GEORDIE (NAP) goes from strength-to-strength and came within a short-head of completing a four-timer off this mark at Newcastle on Tuesday. He appears to be coping well with a busy schedule and is getting weight from all of his rivals.
